Full-mouth quotes in the US regularly land somewhere between sixty and ninety thousand dollars. That range is wide enough to look arbitrary, so here is what is actually moving inside it.
It is two arches, not one
Most published per-arch figures sit between fifteen and thirty-five thousand dollars. Double that before anything else is added, and the base of the range is already explained.
Preparatory surgery
Extracting remaining teeth, grafting sites that have lost bone, and sinus elevation in the upper back are all separately priced and all common in the patients who need full-mouth work in the first place.
This is usually the single largest source of variation between two patients quoted at the same practice.
Number of implants and final material
Four implants per arch or six. Acrylic or zirconia. Those two decisions alone can move a full-mouth total by tens of thousands, and both are clinical decisions that should be made from a CBCT rather than from a budget.
The provisional phase
You need teeth during healing. Whether that provisional is a simple denture or a fixed temporary bridge is a real cost difference, and it is frequently invisible in a headline quote.
What to do with this
When a practice gives you a range rather than a number, that is not evasion, it is honesty about variables that genuinely are not known until imaging is reviewed. What you should insist on is that the range narrows to a firm figure once the CBCT has been read, in writing, before treatment starts.
A large number is not automatically a bad one. A number you cannot break into parts is.
