The remote consultation is where we decide together whether you should travel at all, and it works considerably better when you know what to send.
What to send us
A recent panoramic radiograph, and a CBCT if you have one. Photographs: a natural smile, a wide smile, and intraoral shots with lips held back, taken in daylight without flash.
Your medical history and medication list. Any treatment plan or quote you have been given elsewhere, which is genuinely useful context rather than something to be shy about.
What happens next
We review it and come back with what we think is going on, what the options are, roughly how many visits and days, and a price range. In writing, so you can read it properly rather than remember a conversation.
Then a video call to go through it, ask questions, and talk about what you actually want out of this.
What it cannot do
It cannot measure bone width, check how your teeth meet, or probe your gums. So the plan and the price are provisional until you are here and we have proper imaging.
Be wary of anyone who gives you a fixed price and a fixed schedule from photographs. They are guessing, and the guess gets revised once you have already flown.
Why it is free
Because a meaningful share of these conversations end with us saying this is not worth travelling for, have it done at home. We would rather spend that time up front than have you arrive and hear it here.
Send the records, read the written summary at home, and treat the call as your chance to assess us as much as the other way round.
